Cub Swanson
Cub Swanson has been a Vteam member since 2012. Cub was born and raised in Palm Springs, California where he started training MMA in 2003 and made his pro debut just one year later. He had a 9 fight winning streak before making his WEC debut on March 24, 2007 with a victory over Tommy Lee by guillotine choke. Cub now fights in the UFC’s featherweight division and had a 6 fight win streak from 2012-2014. Cub earned his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Rigan Machado and does his training camps at Jackson/Wink in Albuquerque, New Mexico . Cub owns Tru MMA in Indio, California and has collaborated with UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping in opening a signature UFC Gym in Costa Mesa, California. Cub currently has a two fight win streak with wins over Hacran Diaz and Tatsuya Kawajiri.
